Building on a series of reports which reveal that venture capitalist Marc Andreessen, hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, and ex-Uber chief executive Travis Kalanick are among the top players in the project, Musk is broadening its team behind DOGE.
Musk, along with Vivek Ramaswamy-his nominee to head the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency-is trying to employ American business leaders for this unprecedented unofficial governmental body together. This comes from a report by The Washington Post.
It should be here mentioned that as soon as the organization is set in place, Andreessen and Ackman-and probably Kalanick-are already expected to hold one position or another in the new organization. Also in the mix are some other of Musk’s friends and Silicon Valley leaders interested in the activities of DOGE, like one of the Palantir founders, Joe Lonsdale.
This initiative of DOGE corresponds to a peculiar collaborative alliance between high-powered business magnates and government efforts to improve efficiency and innovation within the public sector.
